DVR Scheduler How-To

We at NineStar are pleased to be able to offer our customers the ability to set recordings for our TV service while away from home anywhere they may have an internet connection. You may set recordings only if you have a DVR currently with your service, if you do not and would like to please contact our Customer Service department at 317-326-3131.

How do I setup an account?

You may go to the service page and click on “Sign Up for Account” and fill in any information it requests. This process will take up to 24 hours and you will be notified at the address specified when your account is ready to use. You may also reach our technical support department at 317-326-4357 (HELP) and we will assist in setting it up.

How to I set a recording?

Once logged in, click on “Guide” at the top. You may scroll through the guide to find the show you wish (Only views up to 20 channels you specify) or use the search bar in the upper right to search the next 14 days of guide information. Once you find the show you wish to record, click on it and you will be presented with the option to Record Show or Record Series.

How do I view what my DVR is planning to record?

If you choose the option “To Record” on the menu bar, it will show what shows and in what order your DVR is planning to record.

Can I delete recordings on my DVR?

If you choose the option “Recordings” on the menu bar, it will show what shows are currently stored on your DVR. It shows from oldest recording to the newest or you can filter the results in the “Filter” box on the upper-right. Once you find the show you want to delete, select the red X and choose to either remove the show or the entire series of recordings for that show.
